Home Remedies for Itching Skin
Itching skin is one of the skin problems that we often suffer from.. It can be caused by many things like insect bites, dry skin, aging, sunburns, sunburns, chemical reaction or allergies or it could skin and it could be underlying skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, chickenpox etc. Itching is one of the most annoying and irritating problems that we all face. 1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar is apple juice at 5% acidity. It is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-itching and few others. You can get a lighter complexion and a glowing skin since this is acidic in nature and cures the pimples as well. Moreover, ACV is good for the skin glow and to cure the itching, rashes etc. Let’s see how can you try this apple cider vinegar to cure the itching skin,
Method: Soak a cotton ball in the vinegar and apply it on the affected areas. Or if you have dandruff or itch all over your body then, you can add 2-3 cups in your bath water. Pat dry and apply a moisturizer.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is really soothing and best for many problems. This soothing and rash healing properties of aloe vera has made this plant magical. This also has anti bacterial and anti fungal features, hence even if the itching is due to microbe infection, then too aloe vera can be beneficial. Moreover, the soothing and cooling nature of aloe gel will help to sooth and cure the ski ailments faster and in a gentle way.
Method: You can just simple apply the gel on the affected areas, for cooling effect keep it in the freezer. If you do not have aloe vera plant at home you can buy the aloe vera gel from drugstore. It moisturizes and soothes the skin very well.
Yes, you can use oatmeal too! Oatmeal is really great for dry skin, it moisturizes the skin and has an anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, if your itching is due to the dryness then oatmeal can be wonderful remedy to cure the itching skin.
Method: You can grind the plain oatmeal into fine powder and mix in the bathtub and stay in it for 20-25 minutes and make sure you use lukewarm water not hot water. Or you can just mix it with water and apply it over the affected areas for soothing effect.
4. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is suitable or itching of the skin or scalp itching since coconut oil has high moisturizing properties and is also a n excellent emollient. Hence you can try coconut oil, well pure coconut oil will work the best. As we said, be it for scalp massage, dry skin, scratch or insect bites Coconut oil just works on all of them. You can rub the coconut oil on the affected areas or apply it after bath if you have a really dry skin.

5. Baking Soda
You can make a paste by adding little water to the baking soda and apply it over it itchy area or you can add a cup to your bathtub and soak in it for 20-25 minutes or you can extend it up to half an hour. But, do not use it on the open wound or if the skin is broken.
6. Neem Paste
Another great natural plant that can surely help to give relief in itching skin or itching scalps the neem. Neem or margosa is used since ages to cure the skin related disorders like burning, pimples, boils, eczema, rashes etc. The anti bacterial and anti fungal features will help cure the main cause of the itching hence the skin gets soothed and relived.
Method: To use neem to cure the itching and rashes, just make paste of neem leaves with water and apply that on the affected area and leave for an hour. Then wash with clear water. This will definitely work.
There are natural herbs which are excellent for the cure of the itching skin. You can also use herbs like mint, basil, thyme etc. You can use tea made out of any of these herbs. Let it cool down then, dip cotton ball in it and apply it over the affected area or you can mix it in your bath water as well.
