This soap comes in a white carton and inside the soap is of creamy white in color. The smell is subtle but this also has a sweet smell. The first time, I used this soap was to just wash my face like we do with face washes and not for the entire body. So while I was using this, I realized that it lathers adequately and creates foam that cleanses the skin nicely. After the cleansing, there are no oils or sebum on my facial skin. This cleanses that really well and skin also does not feel stretchy or as if the skin is itchy etc. But I will say that this is not if your skin is dry.
Results
After using this soap for around 3-4 days and twice in a day. I felt that this has made the complexion a little better, not much but slightly. My skin was dull and there was little sun tanning. So, I think this soap may have lightened some of that. This is why the skin appears a bit better. The radiance etc or the exaggerated things are not there. But I felt nice. It was not that I felt Oh, I wasted the money. But honestly after using this every day, my skin was the same there were not extreme changes but not bad. So, I will say that you can try it for your oily to brighten the skin by 1-2 shades only not much.

Now coming to the ingredients, this is a kojic acid soap. Kojic aid is a naturally occurring substance that lightens the skin by exfoliating the uppermost skin layer and also by decreasing the melanin pigment that is secreted by the melanocytes present in the skin. Another ingredient that it has is arbutin which works in similar manner. It also contains vitamin C which is known to refresh the dull and lifeless complexion. You may have heard that we share so many remedies in which we use lemon juice, rich in vitamin C for skin whitening purpose. Vitamin C has the capability to make the skin tone fairer and glowing.

Kojic acid products can do gentle peeling of the skin therefore, they can make the skin slightly dry. So, if you are using this soap for face or body skin then be aware about that. Use skin moisturizers. Moreover, try to use sunscreens when you go out else the new young skin can get even darker by UV rays as kojic acid increases the photosensitivity.

Kozicare Skin Whitening Soap is a decent soap I would say. This does not give miracoulous fairer like many skin whitening products show in their ads, especially the Fair and Lovely Ads. Haha. But the product is okay. This removes the impurities, oils etc nicely from the skin and is affordable as well but only if you use this for the face. Over the time, this can lighten the tan and some spots. So, I won’t say that this has not done anything or it has done extremely well. It gives decent results. So, you can try once to see if you will like it or not. For me, I will get one more bar of this, as I am still hoping that this Kozicare soap can at least maintain my complexion and not let the sun tan settle on the face skin.
