1. Papaya mask to get rid of the lines
Papaya is enriched with a natural enzyme called papain. Papain helps in firming the skin. This keeps the lines and wrinkles away. This also helps in exfoliating the uppermost skin layer by loosening the dead skin cells then sloughing them off. Thus a new skin layer is revealed. How to use papaya to treat lines and wrinkles:
- Take a thin slice of papaya and mash this with either fingers or spoon.
- Apply this papaya paste on the face then leave for 30 minutes.
- Then wash the face with clean water.

2. Lemon Juice to lighten the age spots
Lemon juice is known to bleach the skin in a natural way. Hence this also lightens the age related spots like dark spots that are seen in case of women after 35 mostly.
- Apply lemon juice by diluting this with some rose water. Apply that at night over the dark spots.
- Wash off the face in the morning. This helps to get rid of the dark spots faster.
3. Tomato juice for patchy and uneven skin tone
As we age, the patchiness on the skin increases. The patchiness gets prominent on the jaw line, cheeks etc, therefore, tomato juice can be applied on the skin to even out the dull complexion and the patchy skin tone.
How to use tomato for patchy skin and dark spots
- Cut a slice of tomato and rub that over the face.
- This will help to lighten the darkness on the cheeks and the patchiness on the face.
- You should try this every day by applying the tomato slice on the face and keep that for 30 minutes.
- Then wash the face off. This should be done in the evening time, 1-2 hours before you go to bed.
4. Cucumber and curd to rejuvenate the skin
This treatment that comprises of cucumber and curd is for the dry mature skin which will revitalize and rejuvenate the skin. This will also enhance the skin’s natural elasticity and further promotes the formation of collagen.
How to use this curd and cucumber face pack:
- Take 1 teaspoonful of curd and mix that with 2 teaspoonful of grated cucumber.
- Mix them both and apply on the face. Let this mask get dried for 20 minutes.
- Then wash the face with clean water.
