I have got these 2 eye shadow here in the colors. Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadow in Smokey Pearl and Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadow in Gold pearl. These are the single eye shadows and are packed in a pan shape. I love eye makeup. The most exciting thing is that these two are very different color one is a smokey grayish color and the other one is a soft and subtle gold which is very traditional and universal. So, let’s start the Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows review and see if they are really worth the money or not.
Price of Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows: These are for 750 Rupees for 3.5 g each. If you will get them from online sites, I think you can get some discount. But for single eye shadow price is high. These eye shadows are launched in 8 shades in total.
Experience with Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows
These eye shadows are packaged in beautiful looking round pans with transparent lids. I just adore and love their packing. Applicators are not there but who cares? I in anyways do not use those tiny applicators that some of the eye shadows have. I like to use the regular eye shadow eye makeup brushes. Okay so, the size of these pans is huge like they are around one and half inch in diameter. I am telling you this so that you can imagine how much the product is there. The quantity of these eye shadows is huge, even if I use them daily, then also I don’t think I will be able to use them for at least an year. Let me describe these 2 colors one by one now.
1. Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadow Gold Pearl
Gold Pearl is one of the most beautiful gold shadow that I have seen. This is a pale gold hence will look best on the fair to medium skin complexions. Such colors are good to wear everyday without looking over the top. And also, colors like this gold eye shadow can be used for created soft eye makeup that can be worn for office, college etc. This is slight low on pigmentation as I have to swipe a couple of times to get good color intensity. Staying span is low too so you will have to use an eye primer first. I was wondering that this can be a versatile color that can be used on the inner corners of the eyes to highlight them. Or this can also be used as a brow highlighter with a gorgeous bold eye makeup.
2. Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadow Smokey Pearl
Smokey Pearl is a very beautiful grayish bluish color which has silver and gold shimmers. All this gives this eye shadow a very pretty duochrome effect when applied on the eyes. I swiped my finger over this color and was so mesmerized by the beautiful light reflecting texture and can imagine how beautiful it’s going to look when used for a smokey eye makeup look for date. The texture of this eye shadow is very satiny and easy to blend.
Pigmentation too is very good the only problem is that it is a glitter based eye shadow and fall outs would be there. Like when you will be trying to apply this on the eyelids some will fall under the eyes. Pigmentation is decent as I said, so, I don’t really need an eye shadow primer before using this color. It stays the entire day but after a bit when it is windy if I am outdoor. It also creases a little bit but nothing badly. In the last picture where I have used these. i used smokey pearl on the eyelids and gold one for the highlight.
Good about Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows
Packaging is beautiful
Both the colors are beautiful and has satiny finish
They are easy to blend though fall outs is a problem
Both the colors will look good even if used on their own for quick day and night look
Sturdy and easy to carry practical design.
Not so Good about Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows
Fall outs due to glittery pearly texture
Price is quite high for single eye shadows, wish they had decreased the quantity as the quantity is too much to be used.

Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Eye shadows have beautiful colors and satiny texture. They are great to create a beautiful eye makeup look with just one color but fall out has to be taken care of. Price is high for single eye shadows else they have good pigmentation and staying span.
