Hi everyone! Patanjali products are very popular as they come from Baba Ramdev who makes these herbal hair care, skin care and personal hygiene products. I have already done a post on the best Patanjali products in India. I have been using this Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser for the past one month. Experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Natural Hair Cleanser Shampoo
This Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser shampoo comes in a white bottle with a brown flip top cap. The cap is a bit loose so, I find it not very travel friendly but if you are traveling and you would like to take this bottle along with you then you can transfer this shampoo in a new leak proof bottle.
The shampoo has a very nice orange or fruity smell which is very refreshing and pleasant. I like this smell of this hair cleanser. The shampoo is light brown in color with a medium texture that means it is not very runny or very thick.
How I use this Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser: To use this product, I will wet my hair and will take around 1 teaspoonful of this shampoo. I will then apply the shampoo firstly on the scalp. Once I have applied that shampoo on the scalp, I will gently massage it all over the scalp and the lathers that have been formed I will use those to massage the hair strands now. I will massage all the hair now and will do that for 30 seconds. After this, I will rinse my hair with clear water. This is how I use this Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser shampoo.
After the hair wash, I do not feel that this shampoo has made my hair very smooth or something like that but when my hair gets dried, like in semi dried state, they feel so much softer and silkier. When the hair gets fully dried, they are not only silkier but there is a natural bounce in my hair which is just amazing. This is the reason why I love this Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser. This makes my hair softer and thicker looking. The tangles are also not that much, just few tangles which can be easily combed out. This was all when I just used the Patanjali kesh kanti natural hair cleanser shampoo without any hair conditioner.
This shampoo has worked so well for my hair that I am not considering using any other shampoo these days otherwise being a beauty blogger, I am given lots of samples which I have to try but this time I bought this shampoo and would like to buy it again. The only thing I am concerned is the Diazolidinyl urea in it.
Side Effects:
So, far, I have not experienced any possible side effects like the itchy scalp, burning etc. the product is quite safe for the hair. Moreover, I feel that the shampoo lathers a lot which can be helpful as your bottle can last really long.

hey i used ranmdev kesh kanti natural for veryy frst time bt i noticed hair fall while combb my hairs.can anybody suggest shud i continue..or go for any other shampoo of ramdev?????
Hi Anji,
I think this shampoo does not suit you thus try any other shampoo to check if the shampoo is causing the hair fall or there is some other problem. You can try pantene hair fall control, I also use that these days.
hiii mam… my scalp is getting so weak that every time i put my fingers in my hairs…. 5 6 hairs come out… so plss suggest me any shampoo which i should use to get rid of this hairfall
Hi Gourav,
You can try Pantene hair fall shampoo but hair fall can be due to some problems internally so make sure you take protein rich diet and foods rich in vitamins.
Hi,
I think i over used loads of chemicals on my hair for colouring n straightening which resulted in dry n damaged hair. Gradually hair fall increased tremendously.
I experimented lot of anti hair fall n smoothing shampoos available in market. recently used Patanjali Kesh Kanti Natural Hair Cleanser Shampoo and i have noticed drastic change in my hair texture…it has improved to a great extent. It also has reduced hair fall drastically.
I would highly recommend this shampoo!!
P.S. – It did not suit my friend’s hair though!
Best Wishes
Deepika
